Through His word, the Bible, God assures us that his merciful hand reaches right into the storms of life to comfort and strengthen us. We need not be afraid. The Savior Jesus Christ is compassionate. He knows your pain, and He offers help and hope to those who reach out to Him.
It is our sincere desire that people all around the world, and especially those who are struggling in the storms of life, would acknowledge Jesus as their Savior and Messiah. As Romans 10:9 declares, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
God’s Special Love for Mothers and Children
The Hand in the Storm organization finds guidance in the Word of God for the importance of preserving life. We understand that unplanned pregnancies cause a hurricane-level storm in the lives of many women. We want to provide encouragement and resources, so these mothers can make the best choice for their babies. As the Creator, God gave life to each baby in the womb. It is His desire that that life is not ended before birth.
No matter the circumstances surrounding a conception, the Bible tells us that God loves mothers and their babies and has a plan for every life. He desires that His people are filled with His love and grace and grow closer to Him each day.
